So much has happened since I left! Vacation was awesome and incredible. I'll upload some photos to my flickr account to showcase the silliness and fun I brought to the adventure :)
Now I'm looking forward to teaching this semester! For the first time! I spent the morning working on a lesson plan for the first day. Then I emailed it to my lovely mama for her expert opinion. I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to bring real world issues to the classroom. Like the Tennessee coal ash disaster, and international e-waste. Humans do things that cause waste - good things, even. We just have to be responsible for how the waste is handled.
