I just had a conversation with a dear friend in which I was reminded of how much we can give each other by listening for commitment.
She shared about her experience in a choral group. They end their rehearsals with "prayer and praise," and many of the prayers include a specific phrase: "Lord, you know what's in my heart." She told me this really touched her, and reminded her that even when she's in the middle of stress and doubt, deep down something stronger is there.
I know that about my friends and family. About everyone. And it's so nice to be reminded.
