it was a nice trip to fall creek falls state park--plenty of laughs and games, a few hikes, and a couple of books: freakonomics, the five people you meet in heaven, and nickel and dimed. definitely go for the first and the last, but i'm not so sure about the middle one, although it's been very popular.
i hear B talking about me with his family... he and jeanette/mirian were teaching me some of lelemi, the language they grew up speaking at home. i learned how to conjugate five verbs in past, present and future, along with some words like today/tomorrow/yesterday morning/afternoon/evening... but do i remember them? not enough to speak with my mother-in-Ghana! well we got a lot of good laughs out of me learning, especially since the language is tonal (like Chinese) but enough to talk to my 13-year-old brother-in-Ghana, who doesn't know it very well either ;)
